Multiplier event in Ireland

The multiplier event which was organised by CFID and life on Machair was held in the
community hall in Eachléim on Wednesday 18th October from 7pm.

Life on Machair is a group formed in recent years to promote sustainable tourism while
protecting our landscape for various birds and wildlife.

The event was attended by various individuals and organisations within the tourism sector,
from accommodation providers, boat tours, community craft workers and staff from the
tourism industry. There was also attendance from a number of interested individuals from
the community who were keen to find out more about the project. A total of 35 people
attended the event.
